Manama, Bahrain – 21 October 2026:  GFH Bank (“GFH”) today announced the successful exit of its investment offering, Saber Power Investments.

Designed to provide investors with an optimized risk-return profile, the Saber Power Investments offering combined a private equity co-investment in Saber Power Services with a yield-enhancing liquid portfolio.

Over a short holding period, this blended structure generated a combined net return of over 3x money invested delivering cumulative net cash distributions of approximately US$173.5 million to investors.

GFH executed the co-investment in Saber Power Services alongside Schroders Capital, with Greenbelt Capital Partners leading the investment to expand the US-based critical electrical infrastructure services platform. Saber Power is an integrated platform delivering engineering, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and maintenance solutions for critical electrical systems to utilities, technology, industrial, energy, and data center markets, as well as renewable energy and battery storage.

Hammad Younas, CEO of GFH Equities and Chief Investment Officer of GFH Bank, commented: “We are incredibly proud of the landmark exit achieved by Saber Power Investments at a time when global markets are facing several macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds, including subdued exit activity. This outcome reflects our disciplined investment and value creation approach, as well as our ability to identify sectors and businesses positioned to benefit from powerful long-term themes. It also underscores the value of partnering with leading investment firms like Greenbelt and Schroders, alongside exceptional and well-aligned management teams.”
