The British School of Bahrain (BSB) is considered one of the most prominent schools in the Kingdom, offering the best of British private school education and currently rated “Outstanding” based on Bahrain’s National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (BQA) review.

In the fourth quarter of 2016, GFH added the BSB to its portfolio and went on to successfully enhance the school’s EBITDA (2x+) within one year through:

• Zero-based budgeting and effective post-acquisition monitoring
• Classroom optimisation to increase number of students per class
• School expansion planning, execution and completion

In 2017, GFH announced that leading global premium school operators have acquired BSB as part of a deal value exceeding US$150 million.
