GFH Financial Group would like to advise its shareholders and the
\nmarkets that S&P Global Ratings (S&P) has revised the outlook on the
\nGroup\u2019s long-term issuer credit rating to positive from stable and
\naffirmed its ‘B-‘ long-term issuer credit rating.
\nThis improvement is noted to be largely spurred by higher treasury
\nbusiness volumes, where the Group generates a positive spread from
\ninvestment in predominantly regional sovereign sukuk and
\nstructured products. Investment banking transactions also proved
\nresilient since customers keen for cash yields retained their appetite
